I met Richard at his exhibition opening in July 2012 at Cubegallery. At that time I was working for Eleanor when she was managing the Delicate Mayhem Gallery and who is now managing Bleach Box Gallery.
I learnt so much when I was Eleanor’s intern over the summer 2012. She taught so many things about art dealing: hanging, selling, framing etc…
She is such a dedicated, hard worker and passionate gallerist that learning next to her made a real change to me.
Couple of years ago, she started to work for Bleach Box Gallery and representing the Cambridge based photographer Richard Heeps.
I love his pictures which are bringing me into a kitsch American setting capturing colours and neons. It is like traveling into a time machine.
He has travelled the world and came back with so many creative series! I personally got from Richard a set of three vinyls.
I will regularly post his new releases and updates as he is constantly going around with his camera. Lately, before the lockdown, he went to Milan, Italy and took some nice shots which are soon to be out of the darkroom.
